Miri · The Intellectual Core
Debate as a Sikh Practice.
Debate at MPLR isn't about winning. It's about developing the reasoning and courage to engage the world with conviction — grounded in the Gurmat principle that truth-seeking is the point.
This retreat runs on personal responsibility. Boys rotate through setup, cleanup, meal service, and caretaking roles throughout the weekend. Leadership here isn't a title — it's a practice.
Who We Are
Built by a Sikh Family.
This retreat wasn't designed by a committee. It was built by a mom, her husband, and their sons — who saw a gap and decided to fill it.
Vasant, Manmeet, Hukam, Prabhjot, and Vir Singh. Vasant is the youngest, with great ambitions for what the future of this retreat holds in store for him.
Healthcare entrepreneur and operator who has founded, scaled, and exited three organizations across nonprofit, for-profit, and venture-backed models. She built this retreat because she believes leadership formation should start young.

Vir Singh · Age 10
Co-designer and the sharpest critic in the room. Vir ensures this retreat speaks to the boys it's actually built for.
